NO-MAD is a music band that was first formed at 2020 by the bands guitarist Ofer Tamir. At first he created a band so he could compete in a band competition. He formed a band of 7 total members and signed up as ‘Septarock’. Out of 110 bands the band reached the semi-finals but failed to reach the finals.
Knowing the potential of the music and the feeling there’s more to it, Ofer decided to take a step forward and go for it. A lot of changes occurred: all members quit or were replaced and after some time, the new band came to exist.
We wanted our music to be a combination of heavy distorted music with a variety of time signatures, different tunings, and interesting harmonies. With the bands inspirations being: “Dream Theater”, “Tool”, “Disturbed”, “In Flames” and more, we went to the studio and rest is here in front of you.
The band was Originally formed with 5 members: Ofer Tamir and Matan Gurvich on guitars, Omer Yelin on bass, Michael Ben Hemo on drums, and Xander Wilk on Vocals. And now we welcome our 2 new members! Idan Perry our new bassist and Ofir Arnon as our new vocalist.
